Night Light Dock Fishing for Crappie
« on: Mar 20, 2004, 01:56 PM »
I know Crappie will run the shallow water edges for the early Spring, along with other times of the year and that night fishing with lights can be effective. I have seen several docks where the owners have set lights that run all night long, presumable for security reasons, to find their dock at night and etc.

Does anyone have experience fishing these types of dock locations? I was wondering if the lights all night long would hold Crappie consistently or not?

Thanks,

Email me to swap information on fishing holes or to go fish'in sometime in the Syracuse Central NY area (Onondaga and Madison county water holes in particular).

RC,I would think that would be a great spot. You figure as long as the plankton is attracted to the light it will put the food chain in progress.
