i think our antlered  friends  are starting to look  for  dates........  are  you seeing a  lot of  small deer  ?  i seen a lot  of  small  yearlings

Bucks were moving this morning. Saw 5 different bucks on watch. My brother saw 4

went in  5:45  this  morning  came  out 11 or so   down the road was a fresh  deer that got whacked ,  i pulled  over ,a  young fella  was  looking at it   was a buck someone took the horns and left it ....kid  said you think  i could have it ?  i told  him i think he  should call   law  enforcement.....  right then   a  sheriff happened  by  and  said  NP  and  filled  out a  paper  for the  kid , then  the  young fella gut it and tossed  it in the trunk   .....with the cost of every thing skyrocketing glad this didn't go to waste.... keep in mind  if you  fill your freezer   to give  someone  a  deer or a  meat package ,lot of  folks  could  use it

I got lucky yesterday, no monster but good enough for me.  Shot him from the ground on the way to my stand.  Good freezer filler. He was definetly chasing as was a larger one I saw later
