Should have let it live. It’ll eat like old shoes and would have passed on some really good genes. Makes me sad to see it.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Just me Dom. I’ve passed more so called “good bucks” than I can count in favor of a doe for the freezer.

Just me.

I never passed on a “good” one but I have no problem taking a small one or a doe..   It’s all about putting meat in the freezer.. ;)

I never question a deer someone else shoots regardless of size or sex myself I have passed many more the last 10 years and now i hunt my own property where I usually have at least a couple 3 and at least one 4 year olds so i hold out for a real good one and take does when grandkids are with me

If it's got a rack I'm shooting it still haven't figured out how to cook them horns soft enough to eat

Grind them into powder and add to soup.

Like I said….just me. I Don’t begrudge anyone’s decision.

Saw a monster the other morning on my walk. Couldn’t help but marvel. What an awesome thing for him to get to that point in his short life.

Some great bucks there.

Nice coating of snow this morning too. Hopefully it sticks until tomorrow's SZ opener.
