my 870 with the scope off of it.

.

Here is Chris back in 2007 with a buck he got and the scope is on the gun.

And Chris with a big doe and the 870 scoped back in 09

There has been a lot of deer shot with the 870.
I shot maybe 25-30 and Chris has shot way more than me.
That gun has probably taken 60+ deer.

Yeah they are a great gun.
Out of all my long guns I have been using this the past several years.

Nice pics everyone. Well I finally filled a tag after a bunch of awesome encounters with a few giants with no shot opportunities and a bunch of passed smaller bucks including this buck during the archery season. An awesome November this year to be in the woods. Lots of chasing and saw a big 8 point breed a doe last evening of bow. Tuesday morning I closed the deal on a small 7 pointer with my muzzleloader at 90 yards….broke his heart 😜

Nice job findin em

WTG Deadeyez. Just curious how you put a hole in his heart with a hole in his neck?

Thanks guys. KC, He was quartering towards so I put it on base of neck and with the shot angle was able to get it down into his heart.

Nice job on that 7 point. That muzzleloader shot was a good one at 90 yds. Love those muzzleloaders. Can’t wait for late season to start using mine and The woods starts to quiet down.
