Good luck.  When I get past some health issues I may get my boat out and head that way too.

"perch season" is late ice and "ice-out" to me.  all fish do feed up hard in fall though.  i only fish wawasee a couple times over the years.  i do remember something called johnsons bay or point or something.  we hammered the perch after ice-out in the 80s back in there.  too many big waves for my liking is what i remember most from that lake. lol  hope to see some 12" toads posted in next 2 months.  good luck to you!

i have been killing the gills still.(well before the rains i was)  another member turned me onto night gilling and i have been at it all summer long.  30-60 pigs, 7-11", almost every night.  bonus crappie too but none over 10"

Well it was a pretty ruff day all around .Wind and waves equals no drifting and barely could anchor.I managed too keep 12 decent perch.Biggest was 12”.Still better than a day at work

Good luck, I thought everyone on this site quit fishing. I am planning on going somewhere in the next few days.

Good job! Minnows or worms? I’ve used both and did alright a few times last year.  Hex
