The ice is coming...

Took the dogs about 5 A.M. and my smallest three hatchery ponds were iced over. Probably will melt again but it's a sign of thing to come. Pretty soon we'll have to move over the Ice Shanty forum! How about your neck of the woods?

Skimming over up here in Upstate Ny. Nice to see.  Hopefully by January we can get out.

Skimming in CT.  My guess is early December start based off what I see for temps up north.  2 years ago first NY trip was 29 Nov.  Last year first week of December.
