He dislocated his right ankle. He had surgery to repair the injury and will redshirt this season.

BIG TEN was really impressive yesterday.  Not one team lost a game, only conference without a loss.


A couple more games until Big Ten on Big Ten match ups.  Purdue will surprise a lot of people this year.  We only have one true test against Iowa.  The other games will be good, but nothing we can't handle. 

I am looking for Ohio State to knock off Michigan, and then somebody has to beat Ohio State so my Purdue Boilermakers can win the Big Ten championship.  It is a shame the way each team in the Big Ten doesn't play 2 other Big Ten teams.  This year Purdue doesn't play Michigan or Ohio State, would be great games, but at the same time gives Purdue a much better chance of taking it all.

it is so cute that you think Ohio state will even be able to compete with Michigan. 8-4 last year and not looking any better this year, Ohio state has some rebuilding to do. Purdue does have a pretty easy schedule this year and the Iowa game will be tough, but you have to remember they have Wisconsin in Wisconsin and they are no push over. but Michigan is going for the national championship this year because i don't see a loss on the schedule this year. which Purdue may go with one or maybe if lucky no losses, but strength of schedule will kill there chance at a good ranking

your right no losses in the big ten but that Illinois game was pretty much a loss until the end, but they pulled it out in the end.

Why do you guys take this so seriously?
I'm pretty sure J never went to Michigan and I know I didn't go to PSU.
I just root for my favorite team, win or lose.

wrong mike, i went to michigan in 1995. i  got kicked off the team and had to go to D-2 to play, then i got hurt and never had a chance in D-1 again. not that i would have played any with marcus ray only a year older than me playing at free safety a small known guy by the name of tom brady was a freshmen then too, ever heard of him

Devil-man, I went to PURDUE, that is why I take my Purdue football serious.  I swtiched majors a few times so I was there 5.5 years, which is 6 football seasons, season tickets each year.

I never played football in school. I was a soccer brat.
My father's family lives about 1/2 hour from PSU.
That's why I like them, and I'm sticking to it.

And yes, it looks like there will be some arguments.

Well I am having mixed opinions on this weekends big matchup of Michigan and Notre Dame.  I want Michigan to win for the fact they are a Big Ten team, that way it will let those over rated whacko Pac 10 and Big 12 fans know that the Big Ten is the best and toughest conference.   At the same time I want Notre Dame to win so when Purdue plays Notre Dame on October 1st they will both me undefeated going into the game, that way when Purdue puts up big points on them and our outstanding D stops them in their tracks it will do nothing but boost our ranking.   But then again, I am tired of hearing about how great this Weis coach is, my god he has only won one game and the analysts and ND fans are acting like they are the best team in the land.  I guess it has been a long ride for ND though the past several years, downfall of Notre Dame = Ron Powlus.
