jet divers/downriggers
« on: Aug 01, 2005, 08:24 AM »
Does anyone use jet divers or dipsy divers for trolling muskies as opposed to downriggers?  I am referring to 1000 islands area/St Lawrence but I imagine success would be generally the same anywhere you troll deeper for em.  Thanks for the tips guys on my other questions here.  I am just getting into the muskies and it's good to see people helping out a fellow fisherman.

I've had limited success using side planers on some of the local lakes I fish for Muskies. Generally you only need to go deep in the late summer through fall especially in the St.Lawrence and Great Lakes, thats where downriggers would be neccesary.
Good Fishing.
