  so how many of you fellow cheeseheads trout fish? i do a little bit on the prarie river mainly because it runs threw my back yard has any one else fished on the prarie the north branch is really some beutiful fishing

Broken Rod ,    Newoodhntr again, I live on the Prairie where the dam was taken out. I don't know if you seen the job the DNR did on the river bottom but it looks promising. The City of Merrill is going to work on the park trails and shelter and handicaped fishing pier this summer as soon as weather permits. Maybe I'll see you down there sometime. I haven't fished down there to much but do trout fish the smaller lakes up north.       Newoodhntr

     ya the old river bed is starting to look good soon there will be somegood fishing to be had down there that sure raised alot of stink taking that dam out
