Pflueger President XT
I have a few and really like them.
The standard President is also very nice, and I think a great value for the money.

The one in my hand with a fish on the other end....
Anything that is light and has a good drag will work.

I like both the president and Daiwa’s Legalis spinning reels. Both seem to have smooth drags.

I fish exclusively with Mitchells. You can't beat them and easy to repair. Not a throw-a-way reel like todays crap. Yes there are some decent ones out there but have they stood the test of time?? Even the best reel around is useless in the wrong hands............ My 2 cents...
