Caught this fish last weekend. First time out since my hand surgeries. Felt good to be back fishing.

How big was that fish? It's hard to tell with pictures.

Thats a nice fatty.  They seem to be waking up with this warm weather toward the end of summer.  If I had to guess I'd say in the 4lb range.

Caught some big bass and pickerel over the years there. That one was a little shy of 4 pounds.

nice fish.. there are some monster crappie in there as well.. I remember when old man
Ames used to stock that place and it was closed to the public...... I grew up in Andover fishing Haggetts pond... another place with monster bass and pickerel.. too bad you cant fish there anymore.. we used to sneak into the back by the dam at Ames at night...crazy  crawlers and jitterbugs caught me some monster bass there... one tipped the scale at just over 9 lbs on a zebco de-liar scale
