Nice day on the river this morning following yesterday's warm temps. It was in the 30's to start and I fished til just after noon.
Water clarity was decent but not crystal clear..........you could see bottom. Flow was about 200 cfs. Talked to another guy that saw someone land one using an emerger and a guy near the spillway hooked up a couple times in the brief amount of time I fished upstream. He had a smaller one on that rocketed out of the water doing a cartflip and then was off.
Landed one nice male within the 1st 15 min. on a brown wired stonefly about 19" and had another larger one on just about a 1/2 hr before heading home but it spit the hook shortly after hooking. Enough time to get a look at it cause of the flash when it rolled.
