First Saltwater of the year
« on: May 07, 2017, 06:28 PM »
Went to Bourne Saturday morning to help a friend get his seasonal setup on his site. We figured while we were there we would give the early striper bite a go. After we got all setup in the pouring rain. Mother nature gave us a good window on nice late afternoon weather. Got to the spot and only had a couple others there and they did not stay long. Started throwing a white tsunami swim shad the no hits. Switched it up and went with the white Al Gags Whippet Fish and before long. The first striper of the year on the line. Sure felt good ;D ;D. With the flattie bite ever so slowly picking up and the arrival of the stripers. The Chu will soon be on hold until the fall.
I fish every chance I get and enjoy every time I fish. They call it fishing not catchin
