I have a small patch but its hotness seems to vary .....I do the same thing every time I make it and sometimes it will suck the breath right out of you and other times its fairly tame .....yesterday's came out good .....not sure if it has to do with the age of the root - maybe young roots are stronger ??  Wish I could figure it out....I know they say it depends how long you wait before you but the vinegar in but I've tried waiting longer and that doesn't seem to matter .....

I used to grind my own but it always seemed like a lot of effort for the return.  Maybe I'm just getting lazy, but it's much easier to buy it in the farmers market. And I don't mind supporting the local farmers.

     Dinner Sunday was Veal Francise for me and Scallops for the wife. Delicious     Oh...cheesecake too

   Yup Nothing like fresh ground!
    We    dug our own, wild stuff.
   had an old apple orchard we found it in
    ground it out in the garage. :'(
     using a blender
     Just remember try, not to inhale while eating it.
  It cleans out your sinus, really quick, LOL.
