O.K. what lake is this?
« on: May 26, 2019, 08:22 AM »
This is a reproduction of a salmon caught in a lake in Maine. Plaque is the shape of that lake.

I want to see how fast you Mainer's can identify the lake.

Taxidermist is David Kelly of West Baldwin, Maine.

https://www.facebook.com/Kelleys-Fish-Artistry-529232317279666/?eid=ARBsXY23vZ7JLvtphoB9RTz-qHUE3djZu8M3-PeTqR7ymMkz0bbXpmJkPn1pohq7c4caBa9GHFymSWD_&fref=tag

No I'm not plugging the taxidermist, but thought it only fair I would show who he is especially since I asked his permission to post it here.  If the mods think this is inappropriate, do as you wish.

Good luck reading the plaque if you want to cheat. I blew it up and still couldn't read it.

Taxidermist is David Kelly of Michigan, but the original fish was caught in a Maine lake.

I thought he was from West Baldwin, Maine?

Oops you're right. I guess I'm getting senile. What threw me off was we have a Baldwin Michigan too.

I'll correct that!
