My new neighbor is a great guy. He has a parrot. A Caique. He's a real sociable clown.

He loves my feeder post and the sunflower seeds. Thinks it's his own jungle gym. An unusually friendly bird.

Nice to have a neighbor that's my age. He's as sociable as his bird.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Where on Oneida are you thinking of meeting/ gathering, DD?   ;D
Well, the north/east end is best for perch in the fall. Godfrey point has a nice free launch but no camping. There is Anglers Bay not far down the road, I'll look into primitive camping there but they have nice cabins. If anyone has knowledge of primitive camping site's in the area please chime in. I'm fine with the 23'rd.

Jeese, don't worry about campsites. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I think you had mentioned state park earlier for the tasting and was just wondering if that's still on the burner.  :)

Think I'd put that over a big plate of linguini Dom. Looks very yummy.

I'm sure your dinner was fantastic tonight, Dom. It certainly looked awesome enough that we'll be having the same layer this week. But tonight we had one of my all time favorite meals.  Steak, cottage cheese, and thick-sliced tomatoes straight out of the garden. Nothing like it!   ;D

Last batch of big pickles I did wouldn't fit through a wide mouth quart jar. I did them in a half gallon jug. Think I let them go too long. Next year I'm staggering the plantings so I have harvest into September. They're gonna be smaller varieties.
