Fished this morning with my son Lucas. We were on the water from 5- 10:30 am. Fishing was kind of slow, not much at all for action until about 6:45. Brought 4 salmon and 2 rainbows to the boat, lost one at the boat. 2 were caught off 5 colors lead the others were off the down riggers 25'- 35'.
Best fish was about 19" salmon and 17" rainbow. Thought the rainbow was a big fish, he hit it took it down and ran like hell right from the get go...was surprised he wasn't a lot bigger, he sure was a lot of fun though!!
Fished mostly the north side of Rattlesnake, was good to be out there again!
Good luck out there, looks like some heat coming next week!!

Sounds like a good day. Was out with my son on Merrymeeting the other day only had one strike on the downrigger at 25 ft. But we did almost end up at the bottom of the lake courtesy of a large wake boarding boat! >:(
Don't you just love those guys?
