is there a way u can check to c if ur bilge pump is working without being in the water? ???

other than listening to hear if its running, which doesn't mean the impellar is working correctly...NOPE.  if you can get to it and place it in a bowl or some other container so you can submerge it in water do that, otherwise fill the boat a bit and try that.  Better to know if it works now instead of when you need it.

Change it, sounds like the impeller isn't doing the job.

synergy...u can get one with a floater switch and have it directly attached to your battery and it will always keep your bilge water free.

it is an automatic bilge. the last couple times i have gotten off the water, when i pull the plug no water comes out anyways. ive just never seen water come out of the pump.

maybe it works fine and your boat is tight as an infield with no grass, throw some water down there and see if it sucks it out  :flex:

it was a pain to do but it was cloged with a ton of dirt. but thanx for the help guys.
