dual outboard fuel line?
« on: Jun 18, 2009, 03:38 PM »
Do they make a splitter or Y for fuel lines?  I currently run both the main motor and 9.9 kicker off of separate fuel tanks.  the 9.9 has its own 6 gal portable tank and the main motor has the under deck 26 gallon tank.  Since I put the same pre-mix gas and oil into both it would be great if I could just Y the kicker motor line off of the main motor fuel line either before or after the primer bulb.  Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

Very Simply put a Tee in the line between the primer bulb and the engines. Use Brass fittings look for a spur tee or get a female iron pipe tee in brass and 3 spurs for the size lines needed. Make sure you have enough line so as not to put too much undue pressure on the conections.
Did you put the plug in the boat?

I`d be wary of using black iron as it rusts so readily. I`d stick with brass or even plastic.

eBoy has some brass ones here
