« on: Apr 14, 2010, 06:46 PM »
Here are a few more i have pulled out with my kayak this spring.
The top two were right around 4.5 pounds and the bottom one must have been a freshly stocked
and about 16 inches

Impressive catch guys, must have been a blast up close and personal in the kayak.

That's awesome from a kayak!  Do you troll or cast for them?

Ya the red color is key its like a cloud of blood to bring the fish up and the chuggers even make it sound like a feeding frenzy. haha

Is the one you're in the "Prodigy" model & which one, 10' or 12'?  I'm thinking of getting the Perception Prodigy 10 for northern & bass in a dammed up river.  If the kayak is stable enough for salmon, it's stable enough for everything I'll get.  thanks..jj

Its a 10' prodigy.  I love it and it was a good price plus if you add the rod holders yourself it becomes a lot cheaper then buying a "fishing" kayak.
