Lake Winnisquam
« on: Aug 11, 2010, 10:13 AM »
Looking for Info on this lake, I have a relative that lives near by which I'll be visiting soon, and I  would be interested in fishing it. Boat rentals, Perch Fishing. Any Info would be appreciated.

     Thanks

Under the New Hampshire Forum there are "child boards" go to Lake NH and there is a thread about Lake Winnisquam that will give you some good information.  I personnally have not fished that lake, good luck

Winnisquam is a nice lake but can get busy at times with recreational boaters. Recommend fishing early am or in the evening. The lake is divided into 2 sections divided my Misquito Bridge as the locals call it. Good SMB, LMB, Perch, Crappie, Pickeral, Salmon, Rainbows and Lake Trout populate this lake.

Unless you are able to get down deep and troll in the Northern section of the lake you will not find the Salmom or Lakers this time of year. However, SMB near the few islands and far north section of the lake as well as LMB  & Pickeral are scattered throughout.

Good Luck
