I don't mean to gloat, but I finally got a striper! I have been fishing on the salt for two summers now, and I guess I just haven't been in the right place at the right time. Yesterday, I fished on the rocks at Reid St. Park and got ten schoolies b/w 14" and 19". I am now determined to keep fishing the saltwater. To think, I almost gave it up.

just head south!!they are stll on pretty good down here!and with the baitfish thinning out a little they will be hungrier!!! :P
