my first spinnerbait bass

last week i was at my favrite pond and nothing was bitting so looking thru my gear and found a spinnerbait i have never tryed (had never caught anything on a spinnerbait) so i take a few casts and it hets hammered by this by my measuremens i got 6.5 pounds give or take what do you guys think am i close

oh yea it wasnt out of the water more than 2 minutes and she soaked me lol got a few pics and set her on her way hope i catch it again next year hahaha

Gotta love the spinnerbait bite!  That is a solid fish, and I don't think your estimate is too far off.  Nice work!

spinner baits are one of my favorite, i prefer all black, with silver blades and a black trailer.  the more you bend the ends of the spinner bait apart, the slower it sinks and h igher it  stays in the watercolumn your trying to fish as you retrieve it. if you bend the the ends together, it  becomes alot quicker retrieve and it sinks much faster

I have never caught anything on a spinnerbait either. I've heard they're good, abut never hooked up with one, and don't throw them much.  Way to change it up and trigger a nice bite!  That's a beauty of a largemouth!

i wish i saw this one hit i got the spinnerbait to go under the end of a log and it just stoped lol i thought i hooked the log then it started fighting

I love spinnerbaits. The first time I used one, I caught a seven pound bass on the third cast. I've been hooked ever since.
