Brood Salmon
« on: Oct 07, 2011, 08:56 AM »
So Guys but I have heard through the grapevine that the salmon coming from the Vermont hatchery have all died because of the hurricaine we had last month!!!! That really blows but I believe we still get some from the hatchery here in MA so not all is lost but the stocking should be a whole lot less this winter..... :'(

Yea that sucks big time, at least in MA you can catch em through the ice up here in NH its off limits, from what I hear MA fish and game do a better job of stocking too

yea, i mostly will fish for bow's through the ice cuz you know what your gunna get and wont even bother for lakers on the lakes I fish mostly cookie cutters and run the risk with hooking up with a nice salmon which does me no good through the ice.
