new "PIKE" exit

   in a few weeks the sabbatus exit will be open !!this is good new for those of use who travel to sabbatus from the south as we wont have to drive through lewiston any more.from what i understand,the exit will come out on route 9 just about a mile south from route 126!!bad news for the northern pike

a biologist I know caught a 45" Pike there a few weeks ago......also, he's been catching 30" to 40" Stripers early in the morning at 7 mile stream in Winslow (this week)......he thinks they'll be around for another week or so.......(he's a saltwater biologist so I tend to believe him....I thought they would be out of the rivers by now!)

a few miles east of Lewiston.......an hour and twenty minutes from the Maine/NH border.........maybe a bit shorter if you drive like most people from Mass!!
