I have an idea in it's infintcy.
How large of a Jon boat would it take to float a quad?
I would want to use the quad to haul the boat to a lake then use the boat to haul the quad to the other side and keep going like that. Only small little lakes

Totally just a guess, but I would think a 19' or 20' would do it. You would want that quad perfectly centered on it thats for sure.  :D

I kinda like where you are going with this though. Its going to be a quad barge

Already thinking in a new direction.
There is a place in Ontario that makes pontoon boat kits. A pair of 14' 24" tubes floats over 2000 pounds, I figure 700 lbs for a quad, 180lbs x2 for people, plus gear 200lbs. So 1200 pounds.

I also watched a video on YouTube of two guys floating a quad in a zodiac, looked crazy
