20lb braid to a fluoro leader. I had one with 4# fluoro and one with 10# fluoro. I got mine on the one with the 10#. I believe Jeffs was 8# mono?
U can get away with any leader in that range and be fine i think.

jeff that fish is cracka lackin. i shoulda dropped what i was doing and speeded over there after i texted you. when i heard it was raining i knew it was going to be good but i didnt expect a fish like that. well played sir. you musta been jumpin up and down afta you landed that. congrats on your pb. your having a good yr.

What gage line do you fellas run for those Lakers?

Kevin I am planning on going again Thursday after work and again on Saturday for most if not all day. Let me know how you do today. If I can get out there I will.

I haven't fished the rezzie in a couple of years but I always used 6lb test, my buddies use 8. If I see anymore pictures like this, I might have to start fishing there again!
