If you have 1 1/4" square rails I can help you out.  I have a pontoon all decked out for fishing.  It would be best to show you in person. Set it up once and right.  I also have a couple of my older downrigger mounts that fit 1 1/4" square rail that I would be more than happy to give you.  Are you around Winni at all on the weekends??  Contact me at this email.... You will love fishing off a pontoon! Super comfortable and lots of room!!

Envious always thought it would be kewl and productive fishing riggers and other trolling methods off pontoon. So much room and just stable most times. I'd like to see pics of finished rigs

i went very basic, both w/ the mounting technique and w/ the rigger models :)

the first season i had the boat i bolted 3/4" plywood to the corner of each rail and mounted the riggers right to that.

the next season i gave the plywood to dover marine and they gave me back aluminum plates matching the plywood size.  simple and cheap.

BTW the downeast clamp-on rod holders are PERFECT for your pontoon rails.

just found this on another forum. I am having trouble with mine so I am doing research. smells like fish earlier in the year asked some of the question about the digitrols working without the cannon link  and this explains it a little better .
