Finally got out and fished Winni today with the Gorilla Head(aka Forry) on my boat. The action was steady, early morning fish were caught mostly off lead core 4 - 5 colors. Fuzzy green worked well, Chappy's smelt, and cool water db guide..... as the morning went along the riggers started to produce at 22' to 41' where the action stopped at about 10:45. Pink worked well off the riggers along with gold and red.
20 fish were brought aboard all salmon and rainbows, no lakers. Best salmon was about 21" with a couple more 17-18". Best rainbow was about 17"and a couple more around 15". The rest were runt salmon, we kept moving trying to steer clear of them. We covered a lot of area from Blackie point all the way towards Sandy and the broads side of rattlesnake. Conditions were great, overcast, 65 degrees and about 10 mph winds.
Gorilla Head had to buy the ice cream once again....he is used to it though..... just sayin
Good luck out there
