ELLIS MARINE is running a derby till June 30th, prize money is split into categories. Lake Trout, Other Trout, Lg.Mouth, Small Mouth and a couple other categories. The entry fee is $10.00 and is good for all Mass. waters. There may be a 24 hour wait period for registering a fish now that the derby has started. You can still enter, stop by and see Robyn and her staff they are great folk's and have a good inventory, fresh, lively bait and are a certified weigh station for MF&W. And you can depend on them being open the hours they say they are.
B&A Bait at the Wachusett is also holding one, $10.00 w/ a 24 hour wait to enter a fish now. Not sure of hours,during Ice Fishing season they were not to dependable as to there hours of operation, though I've been assured that is no longer going to happen.
