Bait for Trout ??

Chuckles:
Was on line looking for Butter worms and where to buy them.  I came across a site selling Phoenix Worms. Other sites were selling Black Soldier Fly Larva.   Both Phoenix / BSF worms looked to be the same thing. The BSF Larva  were less money per 100.  Has anyone used Butter Worms, Phoenix Worms, or BSF Larva for Trout ??  Or any other type of fish ?? 
Looks like I may have to give these worms/larva a try on some panfish this spring/summer.
