What an awesome weekend! My buddy throws the first cast and nails a bass, I get the boat positioned and throw my first cast and I get a 15"er. Total for 6 hours was somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 bass for the two of us. My friend counted his at 23 and I probably caught 35-45. Lots of fish around 12 inches but quite a few around 3 pounds. I lost a really nice one towards the end of the morning, I would say in the vicinity of 6 pounds
but ended up keeping 7 decent fish and threw back 4-5 nice ones that I thought were females. Everything was caught on soft plastics as the fish wanted a really slow moving bait. So it was really a great opener for me and as soon as I finish my roll of film I'll have some pics. How did everyone else do?
