do it molds
« on: Apr 01, 2016, 09:54 AM »
How much custom work needs to be done to change hooks styles...if any at all
I'm going the route of molding my own jigs now and need some feed back
I got do it mold #3418 and want to use a sickle hook...anyone else use Sickles with this mold and if so was a mod needed
thanks in advance

Let me look your mold up first.. if it takes regular Aberdeen hook Sickles will work no modification needed...

Ya that mold takes standard eagle claw 570 and 575 Aberdeen hooks.. so going form those to the Sickles is easy just drop a hook in no modification needed...

Was hoping to hear that ..thanks boondox
I emailed the company and they said a Dremel would be needed to mod the mold...I looked up diameters and not much of a difference until
you get to size four and six....guessing lil nasty I'll try first by eagle claw
thanks again bud
