Touch up paint for Lund
« on: May 29, 2005, 03:38 PM »
I had an unfortunate incident this week, while launching my boat at LOP my motor would not go into reverse and ended up on the rocks due to the 3ft waves. Needless to say the rocks made a nice mess of scratches down one side of the boat. Is their touch up paint available for Lund colors? I have a 1999 Lund Angler Jewel Green freeboard with Pewter hull. The freeboard got the worst of it. I tried to buff out some of it with rubbing compound with poor results. I am not sure what type of paint they use, but it does not seem to be a clear coat type paint?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i would suggest contacting your nearest lund dealership, and seeing what they recommend for touch-up paint, or bite the bullet and have them do it.
