Alton Launch
« on: Aug 29, 2016, 11:54 AM »
Has anyone used the Alton launch since they worked on it?
Any problems at all or is it all good?

Thanks

I used it on Saturday and minus all the fools at the launch its ok. The docks themselves are still a joke, but the drop off at the bottom of the ramp is gone.  Talked to a CO there this weekend, and he was unsure of when the full renovation would take place. Anyone have any idea when that will be happening?

I went by it today and there are only 2 docks left... Both were in really bad condition.

Call 271-1134. The number for Garret Graaskamd - public boat access coordinator. He should be able to answer any question about the launch.
