Nice timber frame work. Your Boss has pockets deeper than the pool.

No the pool is only 7 ft. And he’s only 5’6”. ….On a good day..🤣
That’s his wife’s permanent vacation.
He just sold his 100$ motor home because they only used 3 times in the past 4 years….😎

Well, it’s Christmas gift time in the Little Wood Shop. Spent the last week making some improvements and doing a deep clean. Turned my Bride’s first bird house ornament.
She always gets the first one. Last year I made one a day for the 12 days of Christmas. I’ll do that for her this year too. There’s a few other people who are annual recipients of my ornaments as well.
I’ll be starting on this years gifts today. Off to Lowes for some materials.

Nah…old fart with time on his hands. At least the brain still works….mostly.
Had a good sized piece of apple wood in the Chuck on the lathe today. Making a snowman for my former boss’s Bride. Started to shape the hat without the tail stock. Had the wrong tool in my hand and the blank almost came flying out of the lathe after a catch. . ( some turning rust to shake off)
Amazing how fast I can move when I need to. All went well in the end. I salvaged everything, including my pride.

Spent a lot of this windy, cold, rainy day in the shop. Tore down the chucks for my lathe, cleaned them and cut up parts for projects.
Plenty to keep me going in the morning on Christmas presents.
Pics as I progress.

The Elf is working hard.
Have parts cut out for four more of the little box bird house ornaments. They’re gifts for my old friends at Lowes.
My new mini mitre box
