My hunting partner for the past 12 years. I had to retire her from waterfowl but she still goes hard in the field. Points, flushes, and retrieves. I got very lucky with her.

I got out yesterday with my new 1st mate Melody. 9 week old Australian Shepherd and she was great. Have a Great Holiday weekend everyone.

My two (Ben and Jerry) I got from an organization that rescues dogs from a high kill shelter, are still doing great after getting them as puppies about 3 years ago. They've got it made with a doggy door and a pea graveled lined kennel if they have the urge to relieve themselves. Otherwise they are inside or barking at deer and rabbits off the deck. I also walk them around the property once a day.

With the stress of taking care of elderly parents they are a welcome relief.
