I read this today off of the wfgd site.  https://wgfd.wyo.gov/News/Keyhole,-Glendo-watercraft-will-be-inspected-befor  What do you think watercraft means?  Everything?  Pontoons, other inflatables without motors?  I have a sea eagle foldcat 375 that I picked up this summer.  Because I live in ft collins, I have to stop at the border everytime anyways...have been through the border to fish 15+ times this summer.   But I never have to pull it out of its case, and I dont have a trolling motor.  I row. I worry that I will have to pull it out all the way at glendo, but the area that they listed the inspection is, is not where I would launch because I dont have a motor.  Oh well, I can get it out, hopefully they dont make me inflate it until I get to where Im going to launch.

The article states you can't launch anywhere else other than the two inspection sites

It is really shameful of South Dakota to make NO effort to stop the spread of mussels!  Because they think it is too much effort/pain to clean boats coming off of one lake, they are effectively forcing Wyoming and Montana to up their inspections at a bunch of other lakes...So stupid and short sighted.

There is a tournament this weekend at KH the AIS person is supposed to speak. Everyone I know has called GF multiple number and most of the forks have now taken the week off. In the announcement the GF talks about people still going to Pactola since the announcement but if you talk to anyone, no one is going there just for this reason. I would love to see the records of number of boat that have gone to Pactola and I will ask for the numbers at the meeting. When you come into Wyoming from SD there is a decontamination station set up and I'm sure that it's supposed be be used. Why is this not good enough?
This is a knee jerk reaction. I is a serous overstep of Government regulations. Why didn't this get implicated when all the "Ballast" boats where still on the lake, why did they wait until it was just fisherman. The party boats are the only people that go to Pactola for their cool video's.

Lot of questions, Not a lot of answers.
Thanks for letting me rant!

The thing I'm wondering is what are their plans for next year??  Its going to be interesting....
