fished several ponds yesterday

7/19/18 the first on i fished was loaded with duck weed,caught 3,photos later,real hard to get bait
through weed,
2nd one had tons of rats water REAL muddy not one bite
3th one was a good one  caught about 26,gills seeds. several small perch,same old rig
photos next.

we need the rain bad !  they drained one of my bluegill spots yesterday to repair the  power house..... I'm thinking it's time to hit the marina......

this is what i do
find ponds with weeds and 'clear' water
7ft light action rod with 4lb line- [i use mitchell 301 reel,rod conalon 2121 both from the 50's]
hook- have used a size gold 14---but now have been trying a 10 circle hook
rocket bobber with a small b/b lead at the bobber--NOTE-- no lead at hook
fish from shore most times cast to the edge of the weeds let set ,if no action in 5 min i jig the bobber
a little
bait is a small hunk of worm
