I hit the feed time today, was the only one out on the smooth glass, super foggy lake, caught these, released 4,lost 5 more, all in 2 hr,fished big roaches under floats, same areas I would be tip up fishin, surprised I didnt catch any slimers. What a blast, tried for gills first,no luk, arfter fog started lifting, stayed another hour or so with not a bite.Grilled bass tonight.

That looks like a good way to make them. A nice change from the normal fry. I got a new smoker for Christmas. I think i'll give that a try. Any special seasoning you suggest?

I just gut em,cut all gills out, clean and rinse real good, pat dry,rub olive oil on skin and grill until done, the skin with scales on peels off easy,I usually make a dipping sauce of vinegar, fish sauce,Thai peppers, garlic, sugar and salt, lime juice. These grilled make awesome tacos as well.I like using bigger bass for grilling
