Put the hard cover on my trough planter today and planted another round of radishes. Might put some spinach in one of the beds. It does well this time of year.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Those were just the medium ones.

I won’t plant mine for a couple weeks yet.

Now that the deer cleaned all the leaves of my hot peppers I can pick the rest..
Gonna hang all the small chilies 🌶 to dry and grind…
Not sure what I’m gonna do with the rest of the cherry peppers and jalapeños.  Probably stuff and smoke a bunch and freeze the rest..

And some nice Roma tomatoes left to pick..

Not really. I gifted Dom a few because we’ve been trading for so many years. I’ll plant or use the rest.

I haven’t grown any in a few years. Still have an ample supply. One jar I made up is just plain dangerous. It takes only a dash in a pot of chili, soup or stew to really fire it up. We like spicy around here, but this stuff is just plain hot.

I remember the day I ground it up. I had to get my organic vapor mask and gloves to handle it.

I’m thinking of mixing up a batch or sunflower seed with some crazy hot ground pepper I have. There’s one squirrel that’s found a way to get to my bird feeders. As I understand it, birds don’t care about hot stuff, but the squirrel might get a surprise.
