My Grandson starts college tomorrow. Can’t believe it.

Sending him a text to “kick ass” brought tears to my eyes.

It's amazing how fast time flies when it comes to the little ones growing up. You want them to stay little and hang with you, but also want them to enter the world as young adults. Bitter sweet moments for sure. My Granddaughter hits 7th grade this year. It seems like yesterday she was sitting on my lap while I read books to her and she cuddles up to me saying, "Papa, you are the best". Be proud of him and never forget the little boy he once was. Good luck to both of you.

You are just a kid.

I just found out that I am going to be a GREAT Grandfather not once but twice. My granddaughter and my grandson's wife are both due in a couple of weeks of each other next year.

Rg that's great, my oldest grandson graduated college, got married ,gave me my first great grandson, bought my fathers house when he passed away. He is now giving me my third great grandchild, my second was from my second oldest grandson who is married and gave me a great grand daughter. My grand daughter is 21 and just moved in to her own apartment,my last grandson is 17 and will finish high school this year. They keep me young at heart. Love them all.
