Today being the last of my long weekend, after spending a few hours picking grapes earlier in the day, I seized the opportunity to get out on the North Branch of the Hoosic in North Adams from 2 to 4:30 PM this afternoon.
.
It was a beautiful day - - partly to mostly sunny, temps in the mid seventies. The stream was high, but not too bad.
I started by the entrance to the Natural Marble Bridge State Park and worked my down to below the Eclipse Mill Dam.
By the time I finished, I ended up with one 11" brown and seven 13" to 16" rainbows (plus I lost one more after a brief struggle).
