I have a Walleye trip planned for tomorrow night. Fishing below the dam at Lock 7 on the Mohawk River in NY.... We have had rain all week and heavy rain today. Just wondering hat technigue, lures, presentation and so on people use in fast current. The Mohawk water is always stained and will be more stained than usual I know...Thanks for any input.

jigs and mister twister grubs dark colors for dark water the silouhette shows up better than lighter colors. good luck

Add a leach if you can get any.
Great in stained water, awesome scent, and they are tough so the smaller fish won't pick it clean in short order.
Good luck.

Crank baits.. Let the current do the work... ;)

crankbaits, or drift with live bait
