Hunters, I can tell you a place to start and you can get some info, It is called J&S Fish Camp and it is located on the back side of Okeechobee. They have a launch there and the Beer is real cold, and the people who run it are real nice. and the Gators under the dock are friendly.  ;D You will have a good time there.  I was there the winter before last. Hope this has helped.

I just stumbled on it while cruisin around on the bike.  I didn't have a boat with me but they gave me info on where I could go for a charter, I called and they were booked for about two weeks in advance. I can't remember the name of the places but if you call J&S they will hook you up and you can call ahead. Good luck and have fun I sure did.  ;D
