Friday I took our youngest out on that pond behind the old skating rink. He caught trout non-stop while we were there. This was the one he kept to eat that night:

Spent a little time this afternoon working on my nymph fishing technique...  starting to feel like I'm "getting" it.

5lb / 26" Flathead river pike caught last week:

7lb / 29" Flathead river pike caught Monday of this week:

Caught a 3 - 4lb pike on the Flathead river last night but the pics are on my wife's camera so I don't have them yet. Pike bite seems rather slow right now. I have been fishing from around 5pm until near dark which is 3.5 to 4 hours of fishing and have been averaging about a pike a night each time. I wonder if all the jet skiers put them off their bite? I know they annoy the heck out of me when I am trying to fish but I suppose they have to have their fun too.
