you allready chose a side by the looks of that lure down there more power to ya i say catch some of those walleye down there and they will be buying you beers before you know it ;D ;D

you ever get into the eyes down there i know theres a couple of deep holes just wondering if its worth looking for them down there

Never have up that far but they are there.  I never have spent much time trying either.  I usually get my eyes down stream from Great Falls.

And I have to get with you about that Trapper.  My neighbor is elderly and one slip away from being handicapped.  Would love to know if there is a place on the river that is easily accessible that holds eyes.  He's a Michigan native and loves to walleye fish.  We take the boat and he's in it, but would like to have a couple of options closer to town.  PM me iffin you're feeling generous with info.  If not, I totally understand that too.

Thanks Aaron..most of the "pure" fly crowd consider my set-up low budget, but it's made in the good ole USA, and it gets the job done.  Hard to beat those Cabela's combos for the money.

My wife and I fished McWenneger Slough on Sunday from our canoe for about four hours. This was all we got but it fed us both as our kids were gone that day:
