Ice Off!!!

Well the open water has finally arrived. This weekend got into some fish. Felt nice to be able to sit in the boat with the sun beating down on me. (always makes me sleepy).:



Some lakes still have ice on them but i dont think its very solid or thick ice and hope all nearby and south will be ice off by end of the week. Had 2 bad hook sets so kept 2 bows for dinner.





None of the fish we caught were monsters but for a first weekend out was happy with the bite.
Oh theres a big list of lakes to try out this year, so bring on the warm weather, rods and bikinis.
