New york redneck in florida
« on: Mar 07, 2010, 09:41 AM »
Hello guys.I am done in florida till the 17th.I brought my striper shimano 6500 baitrunner reel with me.I have never fished Florida before or saltwater piers for that matter.I have a few questions about florida fishing. From what I have seen if I go off a pier and pay I do not need a license? What size rod is good for the piers, line weight etc.And what type of bait should I be using this time of year?I am 100% newbie to all this so any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.I am close to the Dania pier and I see the bass pro is right next to it!!.Bass pro and me="kid in a candy store"LOL.Thanks for any replies guys and tight lines.
