Thanks, funny you bring this up because I just bought one (and a new trout net) a few weeks ago. When I was younger, I carried a net (the wrong way) but got sick of it hanging up on everything so I quit carrying one. I was on the Delaware River back in February in a good spot but it was tough to land my fish so I said right there, "I'm getting a net and a magnetic release."

Still haven't had a chance to use them but hopefully soon.

your going to love it  bart   ...my suggestion  is  have  the   net   between your  shoulders and  the   hand  where  it's  easy to  get too .... i was like  you   tossed the  net  strap over  my  shoulders and  it was hung  up on  every bit of  brush i walked  by ....np  with this set  up

Speaking of trout nets, the wife picked up an new Orvis trout net at a garage sale last summer for .50. Looked it up on Orvis website, $85.00. Some one is not happy in town. I will let her go again this summer...h2l

A great morning I had to release some beautiful over 12 trout ended up sharing my spot with a father and young son and that made it the perfect day.

Dinner looks good everything was on pheasant tails

I love pheasant.
Loved hunting them too back in the 60’s, 70’s, and early 80’s when they were still around.

Nice catch Trapp!
